I started off as a writer, ink was in my blood. No really, I stabbed myself with a pen once in first grade. Anyway, my life revolves around humor and the need to laugh on a daily basis. The acting bug also bit, so I bit back. I have a variety of talents (at least my mom always said so). So here I am...a writer, a humorist and actor , with an eclectic view of life, a real love of dark chocolate and red wine, and a pretty snarky attitude.
I have been writing my whole life...poetry, magazine articles, short stories, lyrics, screenplays, etc. I hosted a TV show, started doing voice- overs for commercials and radio. Then moved on to acting. I consider myself a character actor. I love accents and playing unique people.
I am a member of the Palm Springs Women in Film & Television, American Screenwriters Association, and on the board of Variety- the Children's Charity of the Desert.
Currently, I am writing a comedy script that is funny as hell, and rewriting an old script that is rising from the ashes (okay, my desk drawer) to new life as a film.
Every day is another opportunity for humor. Let's face it...people are funny
