Having spent all that time traveling and goofing off (all in the name of my craft), I have come across some new exciting things. The first being a moisturizer by Avon that actually diminishes the small lines and wrinkles. I traveled to Newport Beach last week for the annual "POSSE Christmas Dinner" at the Ritz. This is our 18th year, I think. Anyway, the Grapevine was closed due to snow, as was the 58, 14 and 166. I had to take the 101 South to get there. What normally would have taken 4 hours was a little longer...ELEVEN (yes, I said 11) HOURS. My butt still hasn't recovered from the trip.
Now, because of wearing 3" to 4" heels for so many years, and because I have a high arch, I am having to wear "certain" types of shoes. (Read: low heels and arch supports). It won't make me stop dancing, however.

Let me pass along a little wisdom...something that I have learned that I think others can use.

Always keep your words soft & sweet, in case you have to eat them. And just accept that some days you're the pidgeon and some days you're the statue...

I would also like to send out a big THANK YOU to Merrill shoes. My podiatrist told me to wear them. Not bad and really comfortable. I used to have a closet full of evening wear but now I love my jeans & sweaters. Don't get me wrong, I love a good gala now and then. New things to try: - Zumba - a lot of fun & great exercise
- Levi's 515 jeans - you can sit on a plane all day
- Dove dark chocolate
